We have survived the Family Vacation.  We are back in town...  this was a pretty big family trip.... Grandparents...  aunts and uncles... and all the little ones.  Most of us took a nice little drive to Miami from Atlanta.... (From there the cruise would start).  We tend to like our road trips nice and late.... it allows Matthew, Megan, and Sophia to sleepy time... and we can get some good miles under the tires.

Of course, such trips don't come easy... it takes a lot of experimenting with sugar coated munchies.  Combined with an assortment of power/energy drinks before I was able to find the right balance between sugar coma and uncontrollable spasms.  Meanwhile, the kids did sleep like babies... (they cried all night and wet themselves... no just kidding)

So I have not posted in a week... work has been kind of busy... (getting ready to go out of town)... and studying for an exam.  Well.... work week is over... and also I passed my exam!!  Woot!

So, I guess its now time to relax... and take some pictures... have some fun... and do some blogging...    The picture above is from months ago.... cant remember the occasion (as if we needed one)...  Next stop:  Family Vacation!!

...there is no escape (there is only Zuhl!).  I guess Matthew and Megan thought they were free.  Oh, how could they be so wrong.  No one escapes the unstoppable forces of the Dental Team!

We all have to pay the price.... sooner or later.

Well, I guess it was not as scary as it used to be in the old days.  The kids had fun... and loved the stickers they were given.  Also they loved the new cool toothbrushes that they got.  They were pretty excited about it actually ... which was a bit alarming.  What ever happened to the age old fear of the EVIL DENTIST ... whose sole purpose in life was to inflict dental pain upon its innocent sugar mouthed victims?  I figure at some point I am gong to start sounding like some old geezer who talks about the good old days when we walked 100 miles in the snow barefooted just to get to school....

Do you remember the first time you went to the dentist?  I really don't.  I have no idea when that was... but I am pretty sure it was not when I was two years old.

Not only that, but look at that comfy chair.... its warm and inviting.  And look at those cool spittle protection shades she gets to wear!!  Where was this stuff when I was a kid?  

Its labor day weekend!!!  And I guess this is the day we take a moment of silence for all that Labor lost...    We got a chance on Saturday to visit this huge park near my work.  It had a skate park in there.... and over 6 play sets with foam floor... this is a good thing so that I don't cry as much every time I fall off these crazy contraptions....  The play sets were big and spaced out.... and for various age groups.... But that did not stop us!!  We visited each and everyone.

Check out the pics!!  The name of the park was Brook Run Park (Sandy Springs).  We had a picnic and rode bikes... and some friends stood us up.... but thats ok!   ...but I am sure they will make it up to us.  We managed to have a good time, and no one was killed or hurt!!  (Especially me!!)
