Checkmate
The local library had a chess program for the kids for a few weeks, and Paola thought it would be great to enroll them. At first I had my doubts about how interested they would be in chess at their age, but it was really amazing how quickly the wanted to jump in... learn the moves... and start destroying their opponents.
At one of the classes, the local Rockdale paper was taking some pictures for an article the wrote. Little Sophia made the picture in the paper. Here is a scan of the article... It did come out a little rough.
I hope they use these new found powers for good...
